Products Description : Canvas construction is tough enough to stand up to the heat of the kitchen and light enough to be comfortable # Protect your wrist from bakers burn and other hazards with this extra-lon LE Creuset oven mitt. Never worry about scorching yourself again with bakers burn when you use this lengthy 14 inch mitt. Manufactured from 100% cotton canvas and toweling, the terry cloth with a cotton lining is tested against and conforms to British heat penetration standards. A special steam and grease barrier is sandwiched between layers of insultation for added protection. A flexible, non permeable nylon barrier coated with Teflon fabric protector resists heat, stains and spills preventing penetration of steam, water and grease. A glove without this barrier becomes damp and heat will immediately pass through and with grease, this will happen everytime the glove is used before it is washed.
